Don’t Know How

I don’t know how to do this without you? You were my rock. You were my cheerleader. You were my moon and stars. You illuminated stepping stones over pools of water and were my bridge over the rapids. You stepped up to protect me when I fought demons, shone with love when I achieved goals, and you held my hand when I was unsure.

I lay in bed and sobbing and screaming because I have a bleeding hole inside me that won’t ever ever heal.
