Last Days

I have photos from these last days with Michaela. They are so hard to look at. She was in so much pain. The photo that I took of us after signing our marriage license is one of my hardest. At the same time, I am glad I have it. Grief has a way of making you appreciate all the photos and memories, but also brings up all the emotions of those memories and not being able to create new memories.

This week will be hard with all the anniversaries dates. I feel it hitting me. Each step is a retrace if those last days.
