M & Shelby at Star Wars movie

Michael is a Star Wars fan. We have seen all the movies too many times to count. We quote the movies to each other often.

Tonight a beautiful friend of ours gave us an extraordinary act of compassion and friendship. Shelby, we can’t thank you enough for tonight. We are so grateful to have you in our circle.

Because Michael is a Star Wars fan, he was upset that we couldn’t go see it in the theater. He didn’t want to disturb others watching movie with his cough and pain (moves around quite a bit due to it.) So Shelby knowing all this arranged with the theater to have a private viewing for just us and a small group of friends so that Michael could watch the last Star Wars movie in the theater. It was beyond perfect as Michael could have a blanket and ice packs for his pain being surrounded by people who love him. All of us watching Star Wars together.

Thank you to Garrin, Seirrha, Shelly, Russell, Megh, Jess, Wendy, Carla, and Shelby for making tonight a night to remember! Also a big big thank you to the Picture Show for taking such good care of us and making us feel so welcome and comfortable.
