Rotate the Mattress

I don’t know what other people do when they can’t sleep, but I rotate the mattress (pillow top so rotate instead of flip and rotate). At least that is what I am doing tonight when I can’t sleep. First time since M died. First time doing this alone in a long time. I remember one year when our cat Caesar decided that rotating was all for his fun. He sat on top acting like he was on an amusement park ride as we rotated it. We were trying not to flip him off by dropping the mattress. M and I started laughing which of course added to the difficulties. Caesar of course jumped off just as we got it in place, well until we started putting sheets on because that was always a game for the cats. Miss these daily life moments the most.
